Looking at new LS650s in my area, I find 2000s, 1998s (both orange, phew!) and a 1997 in red. The dealer is asking $3900 for the new 1998s, but I can probably get him down to $3700; another dealer is asking $3600 for the new ``never been started'' 1997, plus he'll throw in the current Suzuki promotion of $400 worth of accessories free. Is there any significant difference between a new 97, a 98 and a 2000, other than how long they have been sitting around showrooms, storage rooms, etc? Thanks, gang.
